Infection Control

Providing a safe, efficient and relaxing dental visit is a fundamental priority in our practice. Our state-of-the-art facility has made our attention to every detail in the infection control process an everyday ease.

We utilize several autoclaves to steam sterilize our non-disposable instruments that are used in your mouth, including our handpieces. These are carefully bagged, sealed and sterilized for your protection. Many items are disposable, further ensuring a safe visit.

We use plastic barriers, which are changed for each patient, to cover items we routinely touch. We thoroughly spray and wipe each room after each visit with an FDA approved surface disinfectant.

The water we use in your mouth and in our handpieces is distilled right in our office! All of our water lines have retraction valves and are self-contained, using the distilled water. These lines are cleansed regularly with a waterline disinfectant to remove any bacterial bio-film.

Gloves are used only once with frequent hand washing before gowning and after removing the gloves. There are many other things we routinely do to keep everyone safe.
