For You—Our Patients—Our Practice Philosophy
Our practice is dedicated to helping you keep your teeth for a lifetime, in optimal health, comfort, function and appearance. We realize that good oral health does not happen by accident, but rather is the result of active daily prevention, early detection and treatment of diseases that can destroy the health of our mouths.
We are thorough and conscientious in establishing our relationship with you. As conditions permit, we complete the most comprehensive evaluation and diagnosis possible for each person seeking our professional services.
We then report evaluation results to keep you informed of your oral conditions, and make recommendations for prevention and treatment that are in your best interest. We inform you of the risks and benefits that may result from your treatment decisions.
We will assist you through the various phases of treatment, so you may achieve your desired outcome. Our practice is dedicated to high quality care. Often there are few quality treatment alternatives, yet each person deserves to choose the treatment course best for them. We will develop a master plan for each person which they can complete over a period of time suited to their financial and scheduling/time needs. We believe in doing minimum dentistry for maximum benefit and longevity.
We recognize that under all circumstances, your best interests must come first. This will be of paramount importance in developing a course of treatment. Our patients’ values, beliefs, and therefore behaviors may be quite different from ours—not wrong, just different. Non-judgmental listening will assist us in finding common ground.
We realize that for a patient to choose the optimal course of dental treatment, our job is first to listen to their needs with understanding, and then to communicate the options available in an educational and informative manner.
For Ourselves—Our Practice Philosophy
We are dedicated to serving the needs of our patients, and realize this is best achieved by recognizing and meeting our individual needs as well. Building self-esteem and personal growth is at the heart of our existence.
We are committed to keep ourselves mentally, emotionally and physically fit. We believe this is achieved by seeking a balance between work, family, recreation and worship. We believe that we cannot continue to serve our patients’ best interests if we do not nourish and renew ourselves.
An office environment which is supportive, accepting and non-judgmental is our desire. We are committed to developing strong yet interdependent team members.
We are dedicated to continuing education in the clinical and behavioral arts in dentistry. Education enhances our ability to meet the needs of our patients and of our team members. We believe that our best resources are our patients and each other.
